一、學習內(nèi)容

　　我們以CIE A-level物理為例來說明：

　　AS物理學習的topics包括：

　　A-level物理除了深入學習以上AS topic，還會新增以下內(nèi)容：

　　• Motion in a circle

　　• Gravitational fields

　　• Ideal gases

　　• Temperature

　　• Thermal properties of materials

　　• Oscillations

　　• Communication

　　• Capacitance

　　• Electronics

　　• Magnetic fields

　　• Electromagnetic induction

　　• Alternating currents

　　• Quantum physics

　　而且所有考生都必須學習 practical skills實踐能力。

　　二、考試形式

　　AS學生需要在一個考試季中考出Paper 1、 2、3 (Advanced Practical Skills 1或2)。

　　已經(jīng)獲得AS成績并且希望 carry forward成績的同學，可以在相應考試季考Paper 4、5。

　　選擇線型路徑的學生，需要在一個考試季中考完5套卷子。

　　Paper 1選擇題，時間1小時15分，占整個A-level成績的15.5%;

　　Paper 2 AS結構題，時間1小時15分，占比23%;

　　Paper 3 實驗題，時間2小時，占比11.5%;

　　Paper 4 A Level 結構題，時間2小時，占比38.5%;

　　Paper 5 規(guī)劃、分析、評估題，時間1小時15分鐘，占比11.5%。

　　通常要求A-level物理的專業(yè)包括：工程(通用工程、航空工程、土木工程、電子電氣工程、機械工程，有時候化學工程)，以及你當然猜得到的，物理專業(yè)...

　　推薦學習A-level物理的專業(yè)包括：生物化學、生物學、化學、醫(yī)學、牙科、護理和其他基于實踐的醫(yī)學課程、建筑學、計算機科學、地理學、地球和環(huán)境科學、數(shù)學、材料科學、藥劑學、運動科學、測量學、心理學、教學。

　　想要成為一名科學技術人員，有時候可能需要學習過GCSE或A-level物理，甚至大學物理學位。
