IBO英國生物測評(中級)(Intermediate Biology Olympiad)面向高一、高二年級(GCSE和A1),是英國生物測評的初階活動。不僅考察學生的生物學知識,還鼓勵他們在校外繼續(xù)學習生物科學。成績優(yōu)秀者將增加世界名校醫(yī)學、生物等理科專業(yè)申請優(yōu)勢。
英國中級生物奧林匹克活動由英國生物奧林匹克委員會組織,由英國皇家生物學會管理。從 2020 年起正式授權(quán) ASDAN 中國(阿思丹)成為其在中國的承辦單位。
英國皇家生物學會(簡稱 RSB), 總部位于倫敦市中心,擁有 16000 多名會員,匯聚了 100 多個國家生物界的著名科學家和生物研究人員,為全球極具影響力的生物學術(shù)組織之一。

iBO生物競賽主要考察學生IGCSE和第一年AS的學習內(nèi)容,具體考試內(nèi)容大致可分為如下:
25%動物解剖學及生理學,20%細胞生物學,15%遺傳與進化,15%植物解剖學及生理學,15%生態(tài)學,5%動物行為學,5%生物分類學
中級生物奧林匹克競賽的核心主題與AQA、Edexcel、OCR AS/A級的教學大綱相一致。
1. Biological Molecules

Concepts of monomers, polymers, condensation & hydrolysis reactions

Monosaccharides, e.g.? and ? glucose, galactose, fructose, ribose

2. Cell Structure

*備注:該活動全球獎項評分規(guī)則如下:金獎、銀獎、銅獎、杰出獎、優(yōu)秀獎獎項將首先按照英國國籍學生的成績分別以 總分排名約 5%、15%、30%、45%、60% 的比例劃出得獎分數(shù)線,然后其他國家學生成績不按照總分排名比例,而是直 接參照獲獎分數(shù)線來決定是否得獎。

針對2024年11月iBO競賽備考,犀牛專門開設(shè)有iBO競賽培訓(xùn)課程,包含全程班,基礎(chǔ)班課程,考前沖刺課程。由于iBO競賽和BBO競賽、USABO競賽有很多重合的地方,因此同學學完這個課程之后,明年上半年可以直接參加BBO&USABO競賽課程。

開課&上課時間:
暑假開班每周2節(jié),開學后每周1節(jié),11月后每周2節(jié)
課時安排:
共60h,包含iBO知識點講解40h + 真題沖刺20h,課程內(nèi)容相當于學科Pre-IB/IG生物
班型設(shè)置:2-8人小班教學/1V1定制課程
師資介紹:
楊卓航老師,本科畢業(yè)于英國倫敦帝國理工生物學專業(yè);碩士畢業(yè)于倫敦帝國理工免疫學專業(yè);曾在帝國理工從事研究免疫代謝(immunometabolism)對于調(diào)節(jié)性T細胞(regulatoryTcells)的分化與可塑性的作用的相關(guān)研究。
授課理念:
以有趣的視角切入相對枯燥的學科知識,帶動學生對生物學的興趣,提高主動學習的意愿,能夠針對不同基礎(chǔ)的學生定制不同的學習計劃,有效提升學生的學習成績。
教學成果:
生物課程教研和授課時間1000小時以上;有豐富的生物競賽教學經(jīng)驗,教授學生獲得USABO和BBO金獎。
